[Daniel to confirm: review and approve this policy before the site goes live]
Effective date: [set at launch]
This policy explains what information the Law Office of Daniel A. Callahan, P.A. ("we") collects through danielacallahan.com and how it is used.
Information you give us
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, phone number, and, if you provide them, your email address, the type of matter, the best time to reach you and your message. We use it only to respond to your request and to evaluate whether we can help. Please do not send confidential details of your case through the form.
Form submissions are delivered to the firm by email and text message and are recorded in the firm's lead records, a private spreadsheet and our website provider's lead system (Pro IT Hosting), which maintains the site for the firm.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running.
When you arrive from an online ad or a tagged link, the site stores the ad click identifier (for example a Google "gclid" or Microsoft "msclkid") and campaign tags in first-party cookies on your device for up to 90 days, and includes them with a form submission, so we can tell which ads lead to inquiries.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
With your consent, the site uses Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising (Bing) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) tags to measure visits and the results of our advertising. These tags stay off unless you click Accept in the cookie notice, and you can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. We never send the contents of your form or the details of your matter to these services.
You can also limit ad tracking through your browser settings, Google's Ad Settings, and Microsoft and Meta privacy controls.
Spam protection
The contact form may use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated abuse. Turnstile processes limited technical data under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers named above, which act for us, or when required by law.
Retention and security
We keep inquiry records as long as needed to respond and to meet the firm's professional obligations, and we protect them with reasonable safeguards. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
